vibe: winter cognac

I've always been a pretty active person throughout my life.  I was involved in sports throughout my youth and grew up hiking and biking in the mountains next to my home.  It wasn't until I married Stephanie that I became an actual "runner" however.  I'm not exactly sure when you fall into the "runner" category or not, but I figure after Stephanie helped me get used to running 5-6 days a week for the past 3 years now that we've been married, I'll claim the "runner" title.

What I've fallen in love with most is trail running.  We're very fortunate to live at the base of the Wasatch mountains and have them so accessible to us.  Getting up there on the the trails is good for the soul. For me it brings perspective, peace, clarity of mind, balance in my life, and of course keeps those lb's under control.  The other day when running up on the trails after a light snowfall, it was quiet, foggy and snow was still falling. I noticed the dark cognac colored rock peaking out from behind the pure white snow which I found quite an inspiring color palette.  Consistent through fashion, nature and art, this color scheme is a sure winner. I hope you enjoy these images and that you find something to be inspired by today.
