the classic (but modern farmhouse | part two
We never got around to sharing the second part of this home on the blog! So before we share another, we thought we'd just give you some extra details with the rest of the rooms.
This girls' room was a crowd favorite! Splashes of color with cute iron beds and the sconces above made for a perfect reading spot. The details in this room are so darling. The large-scale floral abstract art really ties the colors and patterns together.
The loft space is filled with natural light. This made it the perfect space to spend time doing homework, or to play games cozied up on the sheepskin rug. There is nothing I like more than a bright space contrasted with darks and warm woods and this room had all of the perfect ingredients!
The master bedroom was another space designed to capture as much natural light as possible. The white T&G (or shiplap) was a perfect texture to incorporate throughout the home while keeping it as light as possible. Again, contrasting that with warm woods and dark metals really brings warmth to a room. The custom floral draperies in this room were my personal favorite, and really kicked it up a notch! We paired those with some skirted pin-striped chairs for a sitting area anyone would spend all day in.
