collected: favorite drapery hardware
Wren has been accumulating a cold over the past couple of days which led to a pretty terrible night's sleep last night. She was waking up every couple of hours just like she did as a newborn. I forgot how hard that is! Needless to say, it was a great morning to stay in bed and browse the internet to put together this post.
Like we said in our previous post, there is a lot more that goes into selecting and installing great window treatments. One of the most important details is the hardware. Window hardware is the ultimate finishing touch when dressing a window. We like to compare it to getting ready for the day - my finishing touch is a couple rings or a pair of earrings and Griffin's is usually a watch. Hardware (in most settings) is literally like jewelry that finishes off the outfit.
Below we've collected some of our current favorite's in the window hardware world. If I had to pick a very favorite, it would be the Merignac from Jonathan Browning. In fact, all of his hardware is KILLER. However, any of these pieces are sure to make your home stand out.
While I was at it, I threw in some of my favorite drapery tie-backs. This is pretty much an Anthropolgie ad, but fun to see anyway. They really have some of the best unique hardware pieces from tie-backs, to hooks and knobs. Although we don't specify tie-backs extremely often, they can be a one-of-a-kind touch to make your space yours. Wouldn't you wear any of these as jewelry?
We hope this helps you on your quest to find the best window/drapery hardware. As always, please feel free to reach out if you have any questions about any of these in particular.
